InsuCoat Water Base
INSUCOAT WB is a brown water-based bitumen liquid emulsion that dries to form a black, flexible protective film acting as a tough barrier to water and vapor transmission.

Engineered for the job it protects.
INSUCOAT WB is a brown water-based bitumen liquid emulsion that dries to form a black, flexible protective film acting as a tough barrier to water and vapor transmission. Its versatile formulation offers good adherence to concrete, metal, wood, and other surfaces, and can be applied to damp surfaces — making it suitable for a broad range of waterproofing and damp-proofing scenarios.
Environmentally friendly, non-flammable, and cold-applied by brush, roller, or airless spray gun, INSUCOAT WB simplifies the waterproofing process. With a shelf life of up to 12 months, it offers an economical and practical solution for both new construction and remedial waterproofing work.

Application, Step by Step.
Clean the surface of dust, oil and loose particles, then repair cracks and honeycombs so the coating bonds to a sound, stable substrate.
Stir the emulsion thoroughly before use to an even consistency, diluting the first coat only where the technical datasheet requires it.
Apply the first coat evenly by brush, roller or airless spray, working it well into the surface and around all details and corners.
Allow the first coat to dry completely — typically a few hours depending on temperature — before applying any of the following coats.
Apply the second and any further coats perpendicular to the previous one, respecting the coverage rates given in the technical datasheet.
Protect the finished coating from rain and mechanical damage until fully cured, and backfill or screed only after complete drying.
