Insutech's EPS Sheets for Automotive Components provide flat and profile-cut expanded polystyrene panels for a wide range of automotive applications where moulded parts are impractical or where sheet form provides greater design flexibility. Cut to precise automotive dimensions, our EPS sheets are used in headliner backing, floor acoustic systems, boot load floors, door void filling, and thermal management applications throughout the vehicle.
EPS sheet offers the same outstanding insulation, acoustic, and lightweight properties of moulded EPS in a flat or contour-cut format that can be easily integrated into automotive assembly processes. Hot-wire and CNC waterjet cutting allows complex profile shapes to be produced rapidly from sheet stock, giving automotive designers and engineers maximum flexibility for prototyping and production supply.
