Insu Foam
Insutech InsuFoam is a rigid, blue Extruded Polystyrene Foam (XPS) board manufactured at a density of 36–40 kg/m³ through a continuous extrusion process.

Engineered for the job it protects.
Insutech InsuFoam is a rigid, blue Extruded Polystyrene Foam (XPS) board manufactured at a density of 36–40 kg/m³ through a continuous extrusion process. Cut to precise dimensions and available in lapped or straight edge profiles, InsuFoam delivers consistent quality, reliable fitment, and outstanding mechanical strength across the full range of industrial and commercial insulation assemblies.
With a thermal conductivity of 0.033 W/mK and compressive strength of 300 kPa, Insutech InsuFoam effectively reduces heat transfer through building envelopes and withstands the highest structural loads in the XPS range — minimising reliance on mechanical cooling and heating systems, cutting electricity consumption, and lowering CO₂ emissions over the building’s full service life.
- Highest compressive strength in the XPS range: 300 kPa @ 10% deformation
- Superior thermal insulation with 0.033 W/mK thermal conductivity
- Significantly reduces electricity consumption and energy operating costs
- Reduces CO₂ emissions through superior insulating performance
- Excellent water resistance: water absorption ≤0.7% by volume
- Prevents moisture infiltration in walls, floors, and roof assemblies
- Lightweight and easy to handle, bond, and install on site

Application, Step by Step.
Remove dust, grease and loose particles from the substrate so the insulation boards can sit completely flush against the prepared surface.
Measure carefully and cut the boards to size with a sharp blade or hot wire, keeping the edges square for tight and accurate joints.
Apply a compatible adhesive or fix mechanical fasteners appropriate to the substrate, following the specified coverage and spacing.
Position each board and press it firmly into place, butting boards tightly together and staggering the joints between rows for stability.
Close all joints and gaps with compatible tape or filler so the insulation layer forms one continuous, unbroken thermal envelope.
Apply the specified screed, render or cladding over the boards to protect the insulation and complete the build-up as designed.
